Project description
In the election year 2017, many artists called for votes. Wolf Biermann was particularly committed: together with his wife Pamela and the legendary GDR jazz formation Zentralquartett he went on a tour throughout Germany – with songs, jazz and talks, sponsored by the Federal Agency for Civic Education.
The motto was celebrate #democracy – vote democratically. A total of nine cities were able to look forward to the moving event. Up to 100 young people had the opportunity beforehand – free of charge – to discuss democracy with the artists.
